Below are photos of a 25' wide x 60' long double faceted (segmented) residential swimming pool enclosure located 70 miles north of Montreal. The structure covers a 16' x 40' concrete swimming pool. The enclosure features sliding glass windows and door, fixed 1" tempered insulated glass with high performing low-e & argon gas, achieving an R-value of 4. The roof glazing is 25mm (1") TEN-WALL, heat reducing POLYCARBONATE with an R-value of 4.3. Below the concrete slab will house the pool equipment plus the heating air-handler augmented with a de-humidifation system. The conditioned air will blow thru floor registers and wash the glass walls with conditioned air. The pool will have a motorized pool cover (recommended) to greatly reduce the humidity during the cold months while the pool is not in use. The dark bronze baked enamel painted aluminum framing blends well with the wooded setting. The finished landscaping will consist of native plants and an outdoor patio with brick pavers and custom stone barbeque grill. All structures are engineered for high snow and wind loads.
