Below are some examples of ROOF-ONLY swimming pool enclosures.  The perimeter walls are typically constructed of conventional building materials such as structural wood framed or concrete block (by others).  The rafters are structural extruded aluminum with a baked-on enamel paint and the glazing is 25mm (1") 10-wall opaque polycarbonate with an R.- value of 4.3.  The upper gable has fixed 1" clear low-e tempered insulated glass and (2) awning windows for ventilation.

Below is a double facted end conservatory style pool enclosure located in southern Connecticut.  Some of the features are 1" insulated tempered low-e argon filled tempered glass, 25mm (1") ten-wall polycarbonate I.R.

Below are photos of a 25' wide x 60' long double faceted (segmented) residential swimming pool enclosure located 70 miles north of Montreal.  The structure covers a 16' x 40' concrete swimming pool.  The enclosure features sliding glass windows and door, fixed 1" tempered insulated glass with high performing low-e & argon gas, achieving an R-value of 4.  The roof glazing is
