Below are some attached walkways that will allow entrance into a freestanding (stand alone) swimming pool enclosure without going outside. A vestibule (entryway) creates an airlock chamber that will minimize heat loss and also eliminate excess moisture entering the attached structure.
PEI manufactures and installs custom glass conservatory style swimming pool enclosures as shown below. The enclosure features an extra tall 9' eave height allowing a glass transom above the 7' x 18' stackable sliding glass door. Other options include sliding windows, ceiling fans, internal window grids between the glass to simulate a divided lite look, self-cleaning glass,
Below are various shapes of swimming pool enclosures, such as: Gabled, Lean-to, and Conservatory style. Options include: 1" tempered insulated low-e (high performance) glass, sliding glass doors and windows, motorized retracting roof panels, fans, dehumidification, hanging stainless steel gas heaters and more.
Ceiling fans circulate stratified air ( hot air that is trapped near the ridge) of the pool enclosure or sunroom. Heaters will need to work harder to even the temperature resulting in extra fuel cost. These fans push air down without crating a draft (when ran in forward not reverse). Our fans are corrosion resistant - water rated.
Fans will also keep the air quality and humidity in check by moving the air around the swimming pool and reducing condensation, mold, mildew and disperse chloramines.
Below are some interior photos showing a conservatory (faceted roof) style pool enclosure with tile floor and attached walkway. More photos coming soon will show a separate swim spa, hot tub, and exercise equipment.
Manufactured extruded aluminum frame, polycarbonate or glass roof swimming pool enclosures engineered to meet high ground snow / roof live loads and wind speeds. The photo below was taken after the blizzard of 2013 in northeastern Canada.
